My name is Natascha. I was born and raised in beautiful Denmark – some know it as the land of sweet, flaky pastries (with 27 layers of goodness), children’s fairy tales, white swans, and colorful Legos.
I obtained a bachelors degree in “Nutrition and Health: Lifestyle Coaching and Fitness Management (phew, that’s one long title!) in Copenhagen, and my passion for cooking grew even stronger than it already was (I didn’t know that was possible?).
When my handsome Montana man got down on his knees and asked me to be his queen, I packed up my suitcases and journeyed towards sunny Southern California and we’ve been happily married ever since!
I love photography (portrait, macro, wide angle, etc.) and Photoshop, travelling, and cooking meals from scratch. I am passionate about the Danish cuisine, but I also love stirring up dishes of different origins. To me, there are not many things more rewarding than being able to reverse engineer a delicious meal that I ordered from a restaurant, and know that I did that. And of course, if I can satisfy the appetites of others, so much the better!
Helping people cut that disgusting processed food from their diets—e.g., high-fructose corn syrup and artificial additives, in particular—and get back in the kitchen is my goal, wish, and desire.
